Even the most vivid imagination can barely touch the living beauty of the Bazaruto Archipelago, and unspoiled Bassa da India atoll. Just like the rest of Africa's dive destinations, Bassa da India is an undiscovered, pristine marine wilderness and must be one of the worlds wildest and most beautiful dive sites. This great sunken volcano, encrusted with corals and wrecks of numerous ships, is a haven for marine life and is a once in a lifetime destination for the diver who has a taste for adventure.

We will carry you beyond the reach of holiday crowds to wonders few have seen - exotic island hideaways, soft sandy beaches, intimate bays and remote outer reefs.
We invite you to sail with us to discover new horizons, islands and peoples. As the world slips away from the bow, you will wake each day to a new adventure. We feel confident that your adventure with us will be a truly unique one.

We prefer if possible that guests to arrive in Vilanculos the night before their charter departs so that we can get an early departure on day 1.

Day 1
Transfer to yacht. Once settled in and unpacked, the vessel will depart for Bassa da India. Get active by throwing a lure overboard and you'll stand a good chance of catching dinner. It is a 36 to 48 hour cruise to Bassa da India.
If in a nautical mood, our skipper will show you the ropes with the sailing of the yacht. Enjoy relaxing on deck or in the lounge reading, playing board games or listening to music while the vessel carves effortlessly through the deep Indian Ocean, and of course fish to your hears content.
Day 3
Arrives at Bassas da India. On arrival, throw anchor and then it is time to get the scuba or fishing gear out. For non-divers and fishermen, the dingy can take you to the reef for a walk on the rocks where old ship wrecks can be explored and interesting marine life can be seen in the rock pools (remember your sandals to protect your feet!). Cocktails and dinner are enjoyed outdoors on the aft deck where the sun can be seen setting lazily over the azure Indian Ocean.
Day 4 -7
Spend these sunny days diving, exploring and fishing over this diverse atoll. Relax totally and unwind on board. Enjoy sociable meals and evening cocktails.  On the afternoon of the 7th day, we will raise her anchor and unfurl sails for the voyage back to the Bazaruto Archipelago.
It is a 2 day cruise to return and our aim is to be back on the afternoon of the 9th day.
Day 9
Arrive in Vilanculos for your last night on board. Dive, fishing, snorkel and enjoy the activities on board for one last day
Day 10
Enjoy a final breakfast together before heading to Vilanculos airport where the flight back to Johannesburg will be waiting.

NB
Charter yachts in African waters are all owned by private individuals and leased to the charter market for the purpose of offering yacht charters holidays, and as such not all our yachts are identical. Yacht Charters in the African region are very different to the rest of the world. There are no international yacht charter companies here with a dozen identical yachts waiting in a mariner to be chartered. The yachts offered are therefore subject to availability and in the event that a particular yacht is unable to fulfil a charter, we will endeavour to replace the yacht will a similar one.
All yachts do offer a similar level of service, however extra FREE inclusions and activities over and above the Standard Inclusions above are subject to each yacht. We therefore cannot be held responsible for the differences in the specifications from one yacht to another. We will however endeavour to make sure the yachts offered to you for charter match your needs and desires as closely as possible.
